Overview

Summer is all about the sea and sun and on these holidays make sure you make the most of it! An early rise to avoid the extra hot temperatures and spend most of your day sailing will definitely reward you on every level. Unique experiences are made with unique destinations!

After the pick-up we meet at the Old Venetian port. Our staff welcomes you on board, where you will be given a briefing about safety and boat handling. We set our sails and we are off to our destination, Dia island.

Dia is an uninhabited small island, 7 nautical miles north of Heraklion and is protected by the Natura 2000 project for its biodiversity.

The trip there lasts almost one hour, during which you can enjoy the silence, the sun, the blue surroundings, get informed on eco sailing and marine life around Crete or participate in the sailing activities with our skilled skipper!

When we reach Dia, we set anchor on either Agios Georgios or Panagia bay (depending on the weather conditions), which are located on the south part of the island. Both coves are known for their green, crystal waters surrounded by protected wildlife, like the cretan eagle and wild rabbit. Get ready to learn everything you want regarding the history and the flaura and fauna of this little island.

Enjoy swimming in the beautiful waters, snorkelling, sunbathing or isolating to explore your surroundings and admire mother nature. On board you will find refreshments and fresh fruit to snack!

After this fulfilling mind and body experience get ready for our gastronomic journey as your skipper and host prepares a dinner for you on spot, made exclusively from fresh and local ingredients.

We set our sails again to return to Heraklion Venetian port after a full afternoon. Keep in mind that there is always a possibility to spot some of our lovely mammal friends, the dolphins!
