We plan our route specifically to reach places that have special significance for the monitoring of marine life.
These can be remote, far from mainstream routes, and most of the times will not appear in commercial travel guides; a sailing yacht is the ideal way to reach there in an eco-friendly way, with minimal environmental impact.
We approach the selected site navigating with sails only, paying extra attention to the selection of anchorage to ensure minimum disturbance to marine life. A certified instructor will be aboard to introduce you to the recognition of different species of marine organisms.
While in the water, you will be aided by a waterproof identification guide, which you are free to keep after the activity; on it, you will be able to record the species you observed.
Back on the deck, you will be encouraged to register your findings in the dedicated online database and awarded your personal membership card, establishing your valued contribution to scientific research.
